Long time... Hello everyone! I hope all is well!

I have another interesting case:

SAMSUNG KLM1G1CEHC-B101 (153FBGA) 8Gb MLC x 1 NAND Flash.

Processor / Controller:
K1658700
12AS OLG01
. ARM

Status: Working.
Connectivity: No USB interface. Any compatible adapters.

Thanks for the help.

Well the focus was the NAND.

You guys and this forum have addressed several cases like this in the past.

All I need to do is dump the NAND if possible.
Is there an adapter for this package style?

We use these sockets extensively for BGA153 and BGA169 eMMC parts like the one you have:

http://www.aliexpress.com/store/709836

Simply pull the chip, clean it, drop it in the socket, then plug in and image with dd or X Ways.. at $126 USD, they are very cost effective; I would buy one of each of the four package sizes... make sure you have a new modern SD card reader or else the card might not be recognized by your computer. Since the wear leveling and ECC are taken care of for you, all of the files should be contiguous.

If the eMMC interface is damaged, then you can still access the raw NAND inside via the gold square test pads that should be present, but first you need a working sample chip to reverse engineer the signals...

Best of luck...

eMMC chips contain an embedded eMMC controller plus raw NAND memory.

Since you stated that the voice recorder was working, then the eMMC controller within the flash chip should be working fine, so you can access the memory through the standard eMMC pins on the FBGA153 pin-out using the socket. The only function that the socket serves is to connect the eMMC signals DAT0-3, CMD, CLK to the SD card "fingers".

If, however, the chip was not functioning normally through the FBGA153 pin-out (i.e. functionally dead), then you could still probably read from the raw NAND inside through the gold test pads that Samsung includes in the design, but you would first have to use a working chip to deduce I/O0-7, ALE, CLE, CE, WE, RE that you could then wire up manually to the SC reader.
