hi Sergei,

Something for the Wish list for Flash Extractor.

It would be nice to have some preset searches, e.g. for

FAT??
Fat Signature
Boot Sector signature
JPG Header

Perhaps also an 'Invert search term []' so it would look for FAT?? when the NAND is inverted.

It me, I'm just lazy but it would save some time during the initial searching for system components.

If there were an option to save searches then they could be imported at runtime..

Mike

Top green line to show all of path name would be nice.

Long names are truncated, so can't easily see what file I'm working on.

It would be nice to have following features in the mix editor:
-header with the step name in the step properties window
-an option to save the dump of step result

The ability to scroll through blocks in VT.. If you assemble the image using VT with a large number of blocks the VT dialog becomes larger than the FE window, only way out is to press Esc.

I want to add a wish for Image Explorer, if it's possible of course Smile

It would be nice if there will be "Turn off computer automatically after saving files" option at Image Explorer and saving automatically log to file. Sometimes there is a lot of files (e.g. 20 000) at image (especially big images, 8G,16G) and saving them is very time-consuming. So sometimes it's comfortable to set a task of saving files and leave a computer. I think it's not difficult, because turning of a computer is executing a "c:\windows\system32\shutdown.exe" file.

As a starting user, I definetively would have liked very much to receive a complied manual covering basic hardware and software usage

I know that there is a lot of information in the forum, but I think there is too much information, and in my opinion basic inforrmation mixed with complex information that should be absorved by new users only at a later time after he/she masters the more basic functions
