This is a method of reading the TLGA-56 chips.

Remove chip
- Heat from below using a hot-air gun
- Temperature 350
- Takes 1-2 minutes

Prepare pads
- Tin pads with soldering iron
- Form solder balls on it

Make a disposable printed-circuit-board
http://www.soft-center.ru/files/Other/Reader2_TLGA_Adapter.rar

Place chip
- Put chip in the exact position on the circuit board
- The solder balls should slot into the holes
- Use adhesive tape to secure in place

Fill holes with solder
- Pour much solder
- Not very much

Test Read_ID
If ID is not read, warm up holes using a hot air gun.
There is probably not enough or too much solder.

Reading
In the properties windows of the input reader set Ignore_Busy.
(Because we don't solder pullup residtors)

Hi Sergey,
I have Intel Multichip stacked memory NOR flash + SDRAM, which is from the BlackBerry cell phone, is it the chip TLGA-56 you mentioned here.

It looks similar.

Thanks.

I could not find the data sheet so far.
Looks very similar to your photo. The following is what on the chip:

4460LLYBB0
A7187249
Z718I111A

M C '03 El

There is big sign "i". I think that it means "Intel".

Thanks.

Look on chip pins.

If they are identical to my adapter then we have small chance to read it.
