I've been seeing an increase in monolithic mini USB Flash drives, has anyone discovered a way to get inside them?

Is Xray an option to look inside? If so recommendation on tool?
Is Mild acid an option? If so recommendation?
Is Very small drill or Laser an option? If so recommendation?

Once trace is reached how can contact be made? Very small wire? recommendation?

Thanks

I ordered a second hand xray machine for this purpose.
Expect some spectacular pictures in the weeks to come (if the machine is ready to use Smile when it arrives)

Monolithic USB Flash Drive

If you heat up the back end of the PCB you can peal off the thin PCB on top to expose NAND contacts... good luck figuring out the pinout.

Interesting, does anyone know any machines that can even make contacts with wires this small? Wires are ~0.05mm in width

And I thought I was the only one that took a hammer to smashed them open..

Good news: I found out the equipment I need to access the traces without destroying the flash drive..

Bad news: The equipment is so expensive that its cost prohibitive. I'd need to increase my recovery volume and cost to numbers that are outrageous..

SALE !! - USB Flash Drive Recovery ONLY $10,000 USD Per Recovery ACT NOW this sale won't last forever. (Minimum 50 recoveries)

Sounds good.. Any Takers?

No point in wasting time & effort on a device this rare.
