Hi,
I'm working on such a case now.
In the past i could recover SSD's like this one already, but now the strange thing is that the nand's are not giving a good ID.
I tried with several of them, and all give only an ID for bank 1 and 3. Bank 2 and 4 have no id.
The chip has the marking K9HFGY8S5E
The ID i get is ec de 94 43.
This ID is not in the database.
So, are all of these chips damaged or is this a new, not supported type ?

Yes, i tried both BGA and TLGA adapter.
Only BGA adapter gives ID, but on 2 banks only.

BGA132/152 adapter, rotate chip 180 degree and check if you get two other banks. If not, probably need other adapter which can see all banks.

You are right, when i rotate it 180 degrees, it finds two banks also, but on the same place (1 and 3).
Is there a way i could modify this adapter to read all banks at the same time ?
Also, this ID (ec de 94 43) is not in the database.

I see two options:
1. Adpater have bad connection with chip. Sometimes clean air spray in socket can help clean it
2. Chip need special config
I can check this with TW
