I have a Sandisk Ultra 128GB

I see there has been some success with similar devices, but Sergey doesn't create configs for monoliths, which is why I am asking in chat. Hoping someone will have some config advice.

In this topic the device is 64GB

but I have here 128GB with same ID, and 1 bank. how is this so? I would have thought it would have to be 2 banks.

anyone have any configs I can try out please?

Thanks a lot, I will try, but mine is 128GB and 1 bank.. do I just change capacity?

Edit, Nice Michal, thank you!

I am not sure if it is right, but I changed it a little.. changed capacity and doubled the blocks:
Code:

// Chip
Company      Sandisk
Name         Unknown
ID code      45 3e 9b 92

// Structure
Bus          8
Banks        1 x 128 GB
Page         9216
Block        0x244800
Blocks       0x10000

// Read
Cmd          WL
Col          2
Row          3
DDR          false

// Timings
RE_Up        4
RE_Down      4

// Special
Power
Retry
Skip_Mask_1  0xff
Skip_Page_1  0x56
Skip_Mask_2  0x1fffff
Skip_Page_2  0x100000

and now abracadabra, alacazam!

Find Layout
-----------
20-82-00511-1 14_2048_230 Xor C634_8I_WL - 2000/2000
20-82-00511-1 14_2048_230 Xor C634_32I_WL - 2000/2000
20-82-00511-1 14_2048_230 Xor C634_32I - 2000/2000
Canceled.

I only read around 6GB though, so need to read the whole thing now.

I wish skip page and other parameters were explained in the manual. It might help us with monoliths recover something at least for our customers, even if we don't get it 100 right every time. I think I understand skip page, but not all of it.

Brian, it is wrong. Do not change config. I give you correct config for this chip and you make it wrong. For your device you must find second bank.

I see, sorry about that, working late at night makes mistakes! Finding second bank means more CE + RB? or use join CE?
